Bastille Day

An illustration shows people attacking the prison known as the Bastille on July 14, 1789. This event is considered the beginning of the French Revolution. It is celebrated every year in France on Bastille Day.

Well, I am... So, go see "Ratatouille"... and let me know how you liked it!
And...
On the subject of "rodents"...
Bushism's
You know, since my old pal, "The Gunny", was thoughtful enough to remember my birthday and he carefully chose a few nice presents, to help me commemorate same, I thought it would be fitting if I shared some of my bounty with the rest of y'all, especially those who chose to put our present "leader" and his pals, in the White House.
So, starting today, I'm gonna try to share what I call "Bushism's"... with you, each and every day, while they last. Oh! And for those of you who may have missed the blog, the day I included photos of my gifts from "The Gunny", these Bushism's come to you, courtesy of an extraordinary & appropriate Bush document: a hitherto, unopened roll of Dubya toilet paper. I'm gonna let you read 'em, before I use 'em!

I'm gonna include 'em here, in the order in which they come off the roll; I'm sure they will all provide insight and enlightenment into one of the world's great minds....
And, lest you think "The Gunny" is some cheapskate, I'll have you know that this is no cheapass wiping paper... uh, uh. I think it's what they refer to as being "4-ply", as there is a second, blank backing sheet, behind every sheet with old Dubya's smiling face & words of wisdom. Yessiree, "The Gunny" not only knows his ass from a hole in the ground, but is an expert on politics and paper, as well.
NOTE: Since my original blog on this subject, I have been advised that this fine, fine paper is "2-ply". A MightyMom from Texas has taken the time from her child-rearing, to set me straight on this subject, and I am in her debt. She would make a fine advisor for old Dubya's staff, fer shur....

I'm about 1/4-French myself..
(whatever that means to anyone!).
People slag them for being 'cowardly' etc ..
BUT they're still here!
& they certainly know about the finer things in life - Philosophy, Art, Food, Wine...

umm, chief, if there's 2 sheets, that's 2-ply, 4-ply would mean 3 blanks to every bush...that is unless you plan on using both sides. ;-)
Well, Twit, my fine fella, you and I might be part French, but we must bow to the expertise of a Texas/Canadian who knows her toilet paper. Yessiree!
I've got a French military rifle for sale.
Only dropped once...
