Color a BIG, A on my chest today as I am... once again, assuming the persona of Angry Man. Oh, sure, there are plenty of things in life we can be happy with. But, right now, I'm digesting the news that Smokin' Joe Frazier, former heavyweight boxing champion has liver cancer. And if that's not bad enough, it's also been reported that singer Andy Williams has bladder cancer. When will this insidious disease stop robbing us of so many of our own?
And why, do we let our politicians continue to fund a neverending torrent of money into senseless wars and pet projects that make them and their pals rich, while we continue to die at the hands of this disease? We should be putting these guys in prison for misappropriating our money!
Another thing... of much less importance, but also irritating as hell to me, is the news that Lindsay fucking Lohan reported to jail again, yesterday... and was let out... 4 & 1/2 fucking hours later! She was supposed to be incarcerated for at least thirty (30) days, this time. Who runs that asylum on our west coast?

On the other hand, looking for a bright spot, I got to watch my Green Bay Packers hold on in San Diego yesterday, as they continued their perfect first half of the season, by beating the Chargers.
I don't really expect them to wind up with an unbeaten season, but I cherish every victory and I can only hope their last win this season will be in the Super Bowl.
